Bancassurance Supervisor - Non-Life Insurance (Binondo) – Binondo, Manila City. Work setup: Full-Time, Onsite. Salary: PHP 30,000 – 35,000.

Job Summary

As a Sales Officer/Leader (Bancassurance, Agency, Brokers, and Other Distribution Channels), you will be responsible for overseeing our branch office's efficient and effective operation. You will play a crucial role in managing the branch's day-to-day activities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of our organization's products, services, and goals.

Functional Responsibilities

• Branch Operations Management
  • Supervise and manage all branch activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate branch performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing branch team.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to staff members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and growth.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and goal-setting for team members.
• Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries and customers.
  • Address inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor feedback and implement improvements as needed.
• Sales and Business Development
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve branch sales targets across all channels.
  • Recruit productive agents.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to drive growth.
  • Work with the sales team to expand the customer base and partnerships with key clients.
• Financial Management
  • Prepare and manage the branch budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Risk Management
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to branch operations, compliance, and security.
  • Implement security protocols and safety measures; report incidents as needed.

Qualifications and Job Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven leadership experience (3–5+ years), preferably in branch management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of industry, products, and services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
• Ability to make strategic decisions and drive results.
• Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements.
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to exceptional service.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with relevant software applications.
• Background or knowledge of non-life insurance.
• Highly organized with attention to detail; ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; sales, customer service, administration, and management skills.
• Advanced presentation skills and computer skills (MS Office, IS tools).
• Ability to interpret technical and specialized manuals and policies.

Training Required

• Foundational training such as Basic Non-life Insurance; advanced courses in Motor, Fire/Property, Marine and Cargo, and Casualty Insurance; Sales Management; Client Management; People Management.
