Your Role A Staff Accountant is expected to do: The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations, focusing on collections, cash application, and customer billing. This individual will collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will be skilled in handling sensitive information and documents. This role will make a significant contribution to the smooth operation of our internal processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner. Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable balances. Manage customer collections, including follow-up on past due accounts. Navigate and manage customer billing/payment portals. Communicate professionally and effectively with customers to resolve billing or payment questions. Prepare journal entries and ensure proper supporting documentation. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Assist with interim and annual audits. Maintain organized accounting records and audit-ready files. Support ad hoc accounting projects as needed. What You Need Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from an accredited college or university. 1 or more years of relevant accounting experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer-facing communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage collections while maintaining positive customer relationships. Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Non-negotiables Experience in working in the Accounting / Finance industry Must be willing to work onsite in Global One, Quezon City (Eastwood) doing night shift Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Preferred: Experience with NetSuite.
