Job Description As a Bookkeeper, you'll manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliation processes while ensuring accurate financial reporting. Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles. Proficiency in bookkeeping software. At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience (AP and AR). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with Reckon preferred; open to similar systems like Xero or QuickBooks. Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements. Your Daily Tasks Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Reconcile taxes and bank accounts at the end of each month. Monitor financial transactions and reports. Process accounts receivable and payable using the accounting system and Accounts Payable platform. Handle creditor payment cycles and set up bank payments. Understand ledgers and journal entries. Work with an accountant when necessary. Handle monthly staff bonus calculations. Prepare month-end reporting.
