This role emphasizes cost-effective purchasing while ensuring quality standards and timely delivery. Analyze and forecast purchasing trends to optimize inventory levels. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure favorable terms. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues that arise. Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and timelines. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Qualifications and Requirements Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role. Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyze data and market trends effectively. Proficient in using procurement and inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work well both independently and in team environments. Knowledge of procurement procedures and best practices. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong relationship management skills.
