Competitive Rewards: Enjoy above-market compensation, healthcare coverage on day one, plus one or more dependents, paid time‑off with cash conversion, group life insurance, and performance bonuses A Collaborative Spirit: Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment by participating in company-sponsored events and activities Work‑Life Harmony: Enjoy the balance between work and life that suits you with flexible work arrangements Career Growth: Take advantage of opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement Inclusive Teamwork: Be part of a team that celebrates diversity and fosters an inclusive culture Your Role: Accounts Officer As an Accounts Officer, you will: Accounts Receivable Download bank statements and merchant reports Batch credit card payments in Opera using merchant reports Apply payments received in the bank to Opera Cloud Investigate and resolve discrepancies Update daily banking worksheet ensuring Opera payment postings balance to the bank statement Ensure accurate and timely payment allocations Promptly reconcile all client and credit card inquiries Raise and send invoices accurately to individuals and companies with outstanding balances Contact and collect funds from individuals and companies whose accounts exceed time limitations outlined in the credit arrangement Create and control all hotel credit accounts Accounts Payable Process all invoices through the computerized accounts system in a timely manner Ensure every invoice submitted for payment has been authorized by the appropriate department manager Take the necessary steps to ensure all invoices represent charges for products which have been received Accurately code all invoices submitted for payment Create new suppliers in our internal systems (XMPRO) Guarantee the arithmetic accuracy of all invoices Reconcile hotel payment accounts with goods supplier statements Other Responsibilities Check internal controls reporting through Tyalls Attend all scheduled meetings Assist to complete the delinquent debtors report at month end Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as directed by the Assistant Accountant Comply with all company financial policies, procedures and reporting requirements Manage and/or assist with the payroll function on a weekly basis Post and reconcile revenues and debtor balance movements to the Hotel PMS Stock and cost of sales reconciliation and calculations Assist other members of the Finance Department when necessary What You Need At least 1 year of experience in reconciliation or related accounting functions Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data entry and reconciliation Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and ability to work efficiently on repetitive tasks Familiarity with hotel systems or operations is an advantage but not required Experience with Opera Cloud PMS is desirable but not essential About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
