Role description Role accountabilities Lead or supervise planning activities on single or multiple projects/programmes, potentially managing a small team on behalf of the Team Leader. Oversee schedule management for complex projects or portfolios, ensuring delivery aligns with budget, compliance, regulatory, and planning controls. Work within established SOPs and systems to produce schedules, track budgets, and highlight variances to control project delivery targets. Manage or assist in managing small to medium-scale projects or programmes, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely delivery. Interpret project data and provide recommendations to support senior decision-making, clearly communicating planning and schedule information. Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party contractors to align expectations, share progress, and coordinate supply chain planning requirements. Conduct delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) assessments, identifying project constraints and developing mitigation strategies. Provide risk management and project support, conducting feasibility studies and presenting risks/issues to senior managers for compliance and mitigation. Serve as a subject matter expert, advising colleagues, mentoring junior planners, and being consulted internally and externally on planning/scheduling matters. Accountable for project delivery to agreed metrics, responsible for monitoring KPIs, ensuring process compliance, and managing team performance, while continuously supporting and advising stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience Graduate of BS Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent in a relevant discipline Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as Planner with a professional experience in consultancy and contracting Advanced proficiency in scheduling tools (MS Project and Primavera P6) and preferably with knowledge in data visualization tools (PowerBI) Strong analytical skills with the ability to foresee potential project risk Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project managers and cross functional teams Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive positive change and challenge status quo Why Arcadis?
