Kapitalwise is a New York–based fintech company helping financial advisors, RIAs, and wealth management firms scale client acquisition through AI-powered lead generation and personalized engagement tools. With 100+ paying clients and a fast-growing affiliate partner network, Kapitalwise is entering a rapid scale-up phase and looking for an entrepreneurial COO to help lead the journey.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong fintech background and proven success in sales, business development, and scaling growth-stage businesses . The COO will be responsible for operational excellence, revenue growth, and driving scalable go-to-market strategies with limited resources. This individual will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to accelerate Kapitalwise’s expansion into mid-market financial institutions (RIAs, banks, credit unions, and broker-dealers).

Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, aligning resources to support rapid scale.
  • Build repeatable processes across sales, marketing, product, and customer success.
  • Implement performance metrics and dashboards to ensure accountability and growth.
  • Revenue & Business Development
  • Drive sales strategy targeting mid-market financial institutions.
  • Lead business development efforts, expanding partnerships with broker-dealers, affiliates, and distribution networks.
  • Optimize client acquisition and retention, ensuring CAC efficiency and high conversion rates.
  • Strategic Growth & Scaling
  • Partner with CEO to refine and execute company growth roadmap.
  • Develop efficient strategies for scaling with limited resources.
  • Identify new verticals and expansion opportunities, including enterprise partnerships.
  • Team Leadership
  • Mentor and build high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-first mindset.
  • Support talent acquisition and retention during scale-up phase.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services technology .
  • Proven track record in sales and business development targeting RIAs, banks, credit unions, or mid-market financial institutions.
  • Experience scaling a high-growth company with limited resources.
  • Strong operational background with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with AI, data-driven marketing, or lead generation platforms a plus.
  • Preference for candidates based on the East Coast for proximity to clients and HQ.
