Chief Compliance Officer We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead and oversee the compliance and regulatory function of a BSP-supervised financial institution . The CCO will be responsible for ensuring the organization’s full adherence to BSP regulations, AMLA requirements, and all other applicable financial laws and standards. As part of the executive leadership team, the CCO will play a strategic role in guiding the organization’s ongoing transformation and rebranding—embedding a strong culture of compliance, transparency, and ethical governance across all business units. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Compliance Management System in accordance with BSP, AMLC, and other regulatory standards. Serve as the primary liaison with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) , Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) , and other regulatory authorities. Oversee and strengthen the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) frameworks, ensuring effective risk identification, due diligence, and reporting of suspicious transactions. Provide expert advice to senior management and the Board on regulatory obligations, compliance risks, and the impact of new regulations, products, and business initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required regulatory reports and certifications. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with local and international best practices. Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments, reviews, and monitoring activities to evaluate program effectiveness and address identified gaps. Present regular reports and updates to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee on compliance performance, emerging regulatory trends, and risk mitigation measures. Lead compliance training and awareness programs to cultivate a culture of integrity, accountability, and regulatory excellence across the organization. Collaborate closely with business and operations teams to ensure compliance is seamlessly integrated into the company’s strategic objectives and day-to-day operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration , or a related field. At least 10 years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, or audit within a BSP-supervised financial institution . Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role with BSP confirmation as Chief Compliance Officer (multiple confirmations preferred). In-depth knowledge of BSP regulations , AMLA/AMLC rules , Data Privacy Act , and other applicable regulatory frameworks for banks and fintech institutions. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions at the Board and executive level.
