Purchase Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support our procurement team. This role involves sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of handling supplier issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and evaluate suppliers in line with company requirements to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Create and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure the timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis; maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support inventory management and meet operational needs.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
  • Experience in handling Point of Sale Materials (POSM) —marketing materials or promotional tools used at the point of purchase—is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze supplier data and resolve procurement issues efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of purchasing processes, supply chain principles, and inventory control.
