Vice President of People for APAC Region

  • Lead people functions for the Asia Pacific region with a focus on employee experience, benefits, payroll, technology, diversity, equity and inclusion, organizational change, talent management, workforce planning, employee development, and retention. The Vice President of People ensures these critical areas align with the organization's goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and enhance employee engagement and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead people functions for the Asia Pacific region with a focus on employee experience, benefits, payroll, technology, diversity, equity and inclusion, organizational change, talent management, workforce planning, employee development, and retention. The Vice President of People ensures these critical areas align with the organization’s goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  • Review and optimize HR processes by using innovation, technology, and data for increased operational efficiency and improved user experience, as well as translating business requirements into value solutions.
  • Play an integral role in shaping the organization’s vision and strategy for delivering on business objectives through our people. Actively participate in establishing short and long-term objectives to support our organization’s growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape policies and programs that improve employee satisfaction and performance.
  • Build trust and credibility, leading to improved organizational effectiveness by developing strong knowledge of the business model and the industry.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, thoughtful sounding board, and business partner to leaders across the region, serving as an expert on people matters.
  • Provide continuous improvement to the value the organization delivers to its customers by anticipating, responding, and shaping the future direction by building the organization’s people capabilities.
  • Streamline and generate efficiencies in ways of working amongst the people function, including a full deep dive on our processes, policies, and application of best practices.
  • Lead activity related to detecting, assessing, and developing critical talent and leaders, including succession planning.
  • Provide organizational design consultation.
  • Anticipate future consequences and trends in workforce planning to bring creative ideas to the organization. Recognize strategic opportunities for change. Master complexity and find ways to simplify approaches.
  • Build and support a world-class team and foster the environment that inspires their best work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of diverse and progressively senior experience in strategic human resources management with a demonstrated expertise in operational support and employee experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience leading in a multi-site/country contact center environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of benefits administration, compensation, labor relations, and training and development, performance management, total rewards, organizational development, succession planning and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience building and elevating global culture and brand awareness.
  • Strong planning and analysis skills in people strategy and people analytics.
  • Entrepreneurial and big picture mindset; innovative and creative personality with a strong business and financial acumen.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Stellar interpersonal skills and enthusiastic attitude – we are all about our people, and this role requires high employee interaction at every level of the organization.
  • Passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite and various human resources software.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support the needs of a global organization.
