About The Role

Are you passionate about crafting compelling narratives and telling impactful stories? As part of CBRE’s Occupier Solutions Proposal Management Team, the Content Editor will be a key contributor to proposals and presentations in pursuit of new accounts and retention of existing clients across the business.

Your role involves shaping content and stories that drive our business forward, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency. Your ability to transform complex technical information into clear, compelling narratives will help our solutions resonate with clients. You will work closely with proposal managers and designers to maintain high editorial standards and enhance our proposals' overall quality.

What You’ll Do
  • Review and copy-edit proposals and presentations before submission
  • Perform quality control on writing standards (grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation)
  • Suggest rewrites to improve clarity, precision, and brevity, collaborating with bid managers
  • Ensure content adheres to brand, style, and tone guidelines
  • Verify that stakeholder feedback and revisions are correctly applied
  • Support complex proposals across regions and sectors
  • Manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
What You’ll Need
  • Native English speaker with a strong command of U.S. English; BA/BS in English, communications, journalism, business, or related field
  • 3+ years of editing or proofreading experience in a corporate environment, or technical writing experience
  • Familiarity with style guides like AP Stylebook and Chicago Manual of Style
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to adapt writing for diverse audiences and technical understanding levels
  • Exceptional attention to detail under pressure
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work collaboratively in a global team
