Compliance Specialist

A detail-oriented and organized Compliance Specialist responsible for ensuring company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements are followed. Key duties include managing documents, reviewing contracts and reimbursements, handling visa processing, calculating government contributions, and overseeing compliance for international operations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Document Control Maintain and manage compliance-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and secure storage. Implement and monitor document workflows for approvals, renewals, and audits. Contract Reviews Review contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements. Identify potential risks and inconsistencies and coordinate with legal and procurement teams for resolution. Track contract timelines, renewals, and obligations. Reimbursement Reviews Audit employee reimbursement submissions for policy compliance and accuracy. Collaborate with Finance and HR departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing. Maintain organized records for audit and reporting purposes. Visa and Immigration Compliance Facilitate the completion and submission of visa applications and renewals for employees. Ensure compliance with immigration laws and internal policies. Coordinate with external agencies and government bodies for visa-related matters. Government-Mandated Contributions Compute and verify employee contributions to statutory programs such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and others. Work with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions and timely remittances. Monitor changes in government regulations and update internal processes accordingly. International Property Compliance Oversee compliance requirements for company-owned or leased properties in international locations. Ensure adherence to local property laws, tax regulations, and lease agreements. Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams to maintain regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in compliance, HR operations, or administrative roles. Solid work experience in ISO process documentation. Sharp eye on contract details and documentation accuracy. Strong understanding of labor laws, immigration procedures, and government contribution systems. Experience in managing international compliance matters is a plus. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems. IMPT.
