Overview

A leading organisation in the fast-moving consumer goods sector is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Brand Manager to take charge of several skin care brands. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of beloved products, working closely with a supportive Category Head and guiding a Brand Assistant. You will be at the forefront of developing and executing brand strategies that drive market share, profitability, and consumer loyalty.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement robust brand strategies for multiple skin care lines to achieve ambitious business goals across diverse markets.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis on a regular basis to identify emerging trends, new opportunities, and potential competitive threats within the skin care sector.
  • Define clear brand positioning, target audience segmentation, and key messaging that aligns with overall category objectives and resonates with consumers.
  • Plan and execute integrated 360-degree marketing campaigns across digital platforms, print media, retail environments, and other relevant channels to maximise brand awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product development, supply chain, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of all brand initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics meticulously, using data-driven insights to optimise strategies for greater effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of existing products while proactively identifying opportunities for new product development or line extensions based on consumer needs.
  • Work hand-in-hand with research and development teams to create innovative skin care solutions that address evolving market demands.
  • Ensure consistent branding across every touchpoint—including packaging design and communication materials—to maintain a unified brand identity.
  • Supervise and mentor the Brand Assistant by providing guidance on daily tasks as well as supporting their professional development within the team.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; an MBA is considered highly advantageous for this position.
  • At least five years’ experience in brand management within the FMCG sector is essential; prior exposure to skin care or personal care categories is particularly desirable.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics or CRM platforms alongside advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable business insights that inform strategy.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—enabling you to engage effectively with internal stakeholders as well as external partners like agencies or distributors.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members or assistants within a collaborative environment is important for success in this role.
  • A creative mindset combined with meticulous attention to detail ensures excellence in project management from concept through execution.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships across departments while acting as a dependable liaison between category leadership and operational teams.
  • Comfort presenting updates on brand performance to senior leaders while adapting messaging for different audiences as needed.
