Position Overview:

As a Demand/Inventory Planner at Grand Nourriture International, Inc., you will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting demand for our diverse range of products. You will work closely with sales, marketing, purchasing/admin/operations, and supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and meet customer demands efficiently. Additionally, you will oversee inventory management processes in our warehouse to ensure accurate monitoring and control of all products.

The position is in- charge of cross functional process for the said business unit to meet customer demand while avoiding supply chain or inventory management disruptions. The demand planner uses both external and internal business data to determine the forecast of products as planning can be deemed impacted by external forces such as economic shifts, global crises, demand of supply and other factors.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and maintain demand forecasts for all products based on historical data, market trends, and customer demand patterns.
-Collaborate with sales, marketing, purchasing/admin/operations, and supply chain to gather relevant information and insights for demand planning purpose
-Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to identify potential demand fluctuations and adjust forecasts accordingly.
-Communicate forecast changes and recommendations to relevant Management to facilitate effective decision-making.
-Utilize demand planning software and tools to optimize forecasting accuracy and efficiency if applicable. (i.e. SAP)
-Conduct regular reviews and analysis of forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and sales trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
-Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling, storage, and monitoring of all products in our warehouse.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related field.
-With about 3 to 5 years experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain management within the food industry or related field.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
-Knowledgeable in demand planning software and tools (i.e. SAP) and advanced excel skills.
-Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Knowledge of food industry regulations, market dynamics, and supply chain best practices.
-Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Mondays to Fridays work
