PRE PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN - STAMPING PROCESS

Job Overview

This role ensures the smooth operation of stamping production by performing repair and maintenance on stamping dies, following up on the production of critical dies, and assisting engineers in die improvement and debugging.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Die Repair & Maintenance: Ensure die repair and maintenance are conducted efficiently and systematically, following all relevant procedures and implementing 5S and safety standards.
  • Carry out die maintenance and maintain records.
  • Follow up on grinding, repair, and spare parts replacement, and prepare procurement requests after approval.
  • Implement die maintenance plans and document activities.
  • Production: Maintain smooth and orderly stamping production through daily die inspections, tracking, and onsite problem-solving.
  • Coordinate with operators for key die transfers.
  • Follow the shift leader's instructions to monitor difficult machine production.
  • Inspect samples, ensure quality control, and report issues to supervisors or engineers.
  • Project Follow-Up & Drawings: Track project progress, manage drawings, and assist in die data analysis and improvements.
  • Implement engineer-approved die modifications and produce samples.
  • Maintain die drawings in collaboration with engineers.
Qualifications:
  • High school or technical secondary education with 5 years relevant experience, or
  • College degree with 3 years relevant experience.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and professional skills.
  • Knowledge of pre-production processes is advantageous.
  • Responsible, proactive, patient, meticulous, with good coordination skills.
