TE Connectivity is seeking an Assembly Technician III to contribute to manufacturing processes in stamping, molding or assembly topics, ensuring processes run at optimum levels for quality and output. The role supports tool and machine selection and optimization, process development, and manufacturability of new designs as part of TE’s manufacturing engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Be flexible to work in any production area as assigned by the supervisor
  • Own troubleshooting and quality of the product with respect to the process
  • Flexible in working in any shift
  • Reduce machine breakdowns
  • Support the production team to achieve production targets
  • Reduce cycle time by improving the line process
  • Implement Poka-yoke / mistake-proofing
  • Participate in Kaizen activities
  • Execute corrective and preventive actions
  • Troubleshoot defects and correct machine issues
  • Set up and change over machines for different part numbers
  • Read drawings and understand quality requirements
  • Knowledge of end product use and safety requirements
  • Identify and trigger critical spares
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on process improvements
  • Aware of quality targets
  • Apply 5S + 1 (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) and TPM concepts
What Your Background Should Look Like
  • High School Graduate or Associate Degree holder
  • 3-5 years of experience in the same role
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD / Creo 3D modeling
  • Ability to read and understand drawings
