Dental Virtual Assistant with Oral Radiology Background (Remote) We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Virtual Assistant who has experience and formal training in Oral Radiology, along with strong administrative and patient support skills. The ideal candidate will support our dental practice’s remote operations, help with radiology-related tasks (e.g. image management, quality assurance), as well as front-office virtual duties (patient scheduling, insurance verification, records management). Work Hours: 20Hrs/Week Paid training Work from home Experience: Oral radiology: 1 year (Required) Work Location: Remote Key Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, cancellations, follow-ups. Insurance verification, claims processing, billing follow-ups. Manage communications: phone (if applicable), email, chat support, patient inquiries. Oral radiology tasks: Review/assess quality of radiographic images (per training / under supervision). Maintain and organize radiology image databases / digital storage. Assist with image upload/download for referrals and specialists. Ensure compliance with image safety, privacy, and storage protocols. Work with radiology software (PACS, imaging viewers, possibly software specific to your clinic). Maintain strict patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA or other relevant privacy compliance. Assist in other administrative tasks as needed: reports, record keeping, data entry, supplies / vendor coordination. Qualifications Training / certification in Oral Radiology (e.g. course, certification, college degree, or equivalent). Experience working with radiographic imaging for dental practice (intraoral, panoramic, CBCT if applicable). Familiarity with dental practice management software and imaging / radiology software. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, radiology safety, exposure techniques, image quality standards. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail. Strong English communication (written + possibly spoken). Ability to multitask, work independently, reliable internet and computer setup. (Optional but preferred) Prior experience as Dental Assistant / Radiology Assistant or VA in dental setting.
