Job Objective Monitoring of stocks and proper display of merchandise in the selling area. See to it that all new items get onto the floor in a timely manner and ensure proper handling of products to avoid shrinkage. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Prepares & issues drop list for "things to do" of stockers. Assign stockers, promo/merchandisers, and sales personnel to clean all display units especially appliances for display. Monitors the schedule of stockers, forklift operators, and merchandisers. Check receiving summary and plan accordingly. Prepare and do signage. Check price change. Ensures cleanliness of area, aisle by aisle. Ensures all appliance display units are turned off before closing hour. Ensures all pallets are loaded at the steel. Conducts splinter meetings for closing shifts of stockers and operators. Observe proper grooming standards and wearing of company uniform at all times. Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior. Implement six (6) Rights of Merchandising & Stocking. Job Qualification Education: College Graduate Experience/Skill: At least one (1) year of experience in a related industry Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills; computer literate Personality: Authoritative, decisive, self-motivated, goal/result and people-oriented #J-18808-Ljbffr
