SAP BW/BW4HANA Consultant – Philippines

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing a team responsible for package software application development.
  • Support project execution and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with senior management on departmental objectives.
  • Contribute to the timely delivery of software solutions.
  • Provide technical assistance to team members.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
  • Coordinate communication within the team and with other departments.

Mandatory Skills / Qualifications
  • Strong experience in BW4HANA, ABAP debugging.
  • Experience with SAP BO (Webi and Lumira Designer) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 5+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a similar SAP BW/BW4HANA role.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Technical knowledge in package applications.
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP BI tools, and data modeling concepts is preferred.
Nice-to-Have
  • Cloud certifications or advanced training (PMP, CTO, MBA) are a plus.
  • Experience with Workflow, Webi/Lumira, Power BI, and related BI tooling.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years SAP BW development and 2+ years SAP BW admin experience.
  • Extensive BW data modeling (Extractors, InfoPackages, DTPs, Transformations, Data Providers).
  • ABAP development for BW ETL and ECC data population; experience with Open Hubs and SAP Business Content Extractors; BEx tools experience.
  • Power BI experience and data visualization capabilities.
