Join to apply for the SAP BW Consultant role at msg global solutions The Finance Business Unit provides consulting and implementation services that focus on digital transformation and innovative processes to improve the finance and accounting function for international insurance and banking companies. We are SAP’s preferred solution integrator and offer functional and technical expertise, project methodologies, accelerators and templates, system training, and ongoing maintenance support. Our Finance team covers all areas of implementation, data integration, and reporting. What you will do Implement and optimize existing solutions Be responsible for technical design, coding, unit testing, technical documentation and walkthroughs for all assigned SAP related projects to support company business and operational needs Ensure software developed follows the defined programming standards and follow the code/design review processes Do software design, development, and package implementation using SAP BW Be able to properly transform functional requirements into a technical implementation Provide proper Root Cause Analysis on issues raised by clients Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance need What we are looking for Requirements Must have 3+ years of experience of working in SAP BI/BW on HANA At least one full lifecycle SAP BW implementation or have supported such in production. Can support SAP BI 7.0+ with specialty skills on SAP ABAP/HANA SQL Scripting. Good experience on BW Monitoring – Process Chains and Job Monitoring. Knows how to address Data Load & Reporting issues. Also how to navigate through SAP BI Knows Data Modelling and ETL process of SAP BI Has worked on Performance Improvement and Data Load tuning Knows how to Debug and troubleshoot issues knows how to read and write ABAP code. Write start & end routines, customer exits Knowledge of how to run and schedule BO reports, troubleshoot basic issues and how to address them Experience in BW back-end development for BW objects (infoobjects, cubes, transformations, etc) Experience in BOBJ development tools such as Webi and Analysis for office reports Experience with SAP BW BEx Query Development is required. Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills required, as well as communication and interpersonal skills and good organizational skills.
