Responsibilities
  • Design and develop wet utility systems, including water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management designs
  • Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and capacity
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of wet utility designs with overall project plans
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to wet utility systems
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in wet utility design technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in wet utility design engineering
  • Proficient in hydraulic modeling software and other relevant design tools
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and standards governing wet utility design
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in teams
  • Professional Engineering license (PE) is a plus but not mandatory
