As a Senior Category Manager, Strategic Sourcing working remotely in Metro Manila, Philippines, you’ll be a part of bringing humanity to business. What You’ll Do Looking for an opportunity to be the primary support for technology procurement, closely interacting with executives globally, leading contract negotiation with technology providers, addressing the sourcing and procurement needs of internal partners and acting as their key contact? If so, this may be the role for you. The Senior Category Manger for Technology Procurement will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies focused on TTEC’s technology supplier base. You’ll work with multiple categories within the IT space including Hardware, Software, Cloud/SaaS, Telecom, Maintenance, Infrastructure, Security, and IT Consulting Services. You’ll be a part of a global team of Category Managers who support technology categories in TTEC markets around the world. This position is expected to report directly to the Head of Global Procurement. During a Typical Day, You’ll Provide functional and technical strategic sourcing, procurement and negotiation expertise within IT categories including desktop hardware, software, cloud/SaaS, data center hosting, telecom, and network infrastructure. Develop, manage, and implement strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives through on-going market and spend analysis; Manage the negotiation of contractual terms and conditions, cost savings, service levels, and performance standards to meet desired outcomes; Develop a high-quality regional supply base with suppliers who are positioned to meet TTEC’s current and future needs; Track category spend, develop, and implement a cost savings plan for each category; Manage existing supply base by developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), developing supplier scorecards, and leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers and internal stakeholders. Keep up with industry trends in the assigned categories and develop influential relationships with key supplier contacts. Support TTEC procurement policy and standard improvements. Encourage and enforce compliance with business stakeholders and suppliers. What You Bring To The Role BA/BS or equivalent professional experience 10+ years’ experience sourcing, procuring from, and negotiating with IT providers such as Oracle, Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Google, AWS, and others Deep understanding of Information Technology supply space with a passion to remain up-to-date on evolving technology and contractual trends Excellent communication and relationship management skills Experience delivering budget impacting cost savings and improved contractual terms and conditions through negotiation Experience conducting business with global companies and familiarity with global anticorruption laws Experience with common desktop software tools such as Microsoft Office suite (necessary) and Procurement tools such as Oracle iProcurement (preferred).
