Sr. Global Network Engineering Manager

Overview Sr. Global Network Engineering Manager - Circuit Delivery (Hybrid/Night Shift) – Comcast, Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines We are looking for a senior leader to manage multi-product and enterprise solutions technical support teams. The role focuses on designing, developing and implementing plans that align with business strategy and goals, working with the leadership team, and providing updates and recommendations as operations grow and change. Responsibilities Develops, implements and monitors operations policies, procedures, programs and standards that support goals and objectives. Adapt operations to different cultures, business practices or customs where applicable. Assist in the development and management of the implementation of new processes, procedures, systems and reporting to improve customer service and reflect changing business needs. Prepare, analyze and manage operations through statistical analysis of activities. Develop staffing plans; recruit and hire supervisors; set performance goals for direct reports; conduct performance reviews; provide coaching and development. Ensure achievement of system, team and individual customer service goals and standards. Coordinate with third-party vendors for staffing needs, coverage, and market-specific product launches. Prepare cost allocation reporting for vendor and internal costs. Prepare reports for analyzing operations, identifying problems and recommending corrective actions and plans. Participate in task forces, special projects, committees or team meetings. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Maintain regular, punctual attendance and be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Technical Requirements Working knowledge of WAN and LAN technologies Knowledge of Cloud and Circuit Ordering Processes Understanding of Carrier Test and Turn Up (TTU) processes Working knowledge of Layer 1 and 2 Testing Qualifications More than 7 years of management experience in Service Delivery and/or Customer Support, preferably in the Telco industry Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, information technology or related field Strong people management skills Excellent communication skills Willing to work night shifts (US hours) Ability to work in a Matrix Organization Strong reporting and presentation skills Ability to escalate and resolve critical issues with internal and external stakeholders Ability to address complex business needs through interaction with senior leadership, internal operational managers, and external customers SLA-driven mindset Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Relevant Work Experience: 7-10 Years Seniorities & Employment Seniority level: Director Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting, Technology, Information and Internet, Telecommunications EEO Statement Comcast is an equal opportunity workplace.
