The Role:
A Senior Video Editor should have a passion for storytelling, a keen interest in internet culture, pop culture, music, memes, and diverse video genres. This role demands specialization in motion graphics, proficiency in the latest NLE software and the ability to produce captivating video content tailored for various platforms.
Responsibilities- Edit high-quality video content using the latest NLE software and other tools, including but not limited to Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Photoshop, etc.
- Create engaging stories that push boundaries across a variety of platforms, offering creative ideas and creating content tailored to specific platforms.
- Ensure all video content meets the appropriate delivery specs for social media (especially TikTok), online platforms, and TV broadcast standards.
- Manage the editing workflow from footage ingestion, through revisions, to final delivery and archival.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques to continuously improve editing skills and a keen interest in internet culture, pop culture, music, memes, and various video genres.
- Takes initiative and shows creative ambition to start self owned projects when there is spare time.
- Resourceful and takes advantage of opportunities outside of just editing, showing ambition to learn and collaborate with others on creative projects that can be made in-house using the time allowed.
- Design and produce engaging Instagram motion graphic carousels, ensuring consistency with established brand visual identity
- Willing to work Nightshift (12 AM time to 8 AM PH time)
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio.
- Highly skilled in motion graphics
- Adept in both Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experienced with both offline and online video editing
- Familiar with Mac operating systems (Windows is a plus)
- Fluent in English with fantastic verbal and written communication skills.
