Responsibilities
  • Develop Data Engineering requirements using Azure Data Factory, Python, SSIS, and other relevant tools.
  • Deliver Data Lake & Data Warehouse related solutions and provide data support as needed.
  • Build simple dashboards and respond to ad-hoc data requests.
  • Support and maintain existing pipelines, queries, stored procedures, and reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver solutions.
  • Create and update documents such as ERD, Technical Requirements Documentation, Business Requirements Documentation, and Mapping Documentation.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least 4-7 years of relevant experience in data engineering.
  • Development in Azure Data Factory is a priority; experience with Cloud ETL (AWS Glue, GCP Cloud Data Fusion/Flow) is also considered.
  • Python programming skills in data analytics/big data are a must.
  • Cloud data engineering skills in Azure (preferred), AWS, and/or GCP are a must.
  • Experience in enterprise environments with Data Warehouse/Data Lake/Data Lakehouse is required.
  • Modern data architecture and data modeling experience.
  • Worked on at least 2 enterprise-scale projects as a Data Engineer.
  • Power BI or knowledge of BI tools is a must.
  • Good communication and writing skills; ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Independent worker with minimal supervision.
  • Machine Learning/AI understanding is a plus.

What you can contribute to the team

The Senior Data Engineer will work with the local D&IT team to deliver and support data analytics requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to provide solutions and architecture as needed. The role reports to the D&IT Business Solutions Manager for Data in the Philippine market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop data engineering requirements using Azure Data Factory, Python, SSIS, and related tools.
  • Solution and deliver data lake and data warehouse related solutions.
  • Provide ad-hoc data requirements and build simple dashboards.
  • Support and maintain pipelines, queries, stored procedures, and reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver solutions.
  • Develop reports and simple dashboards in Power BI.
  • Create and update documents such as ERD, technical and business requirements, and mapping documents.
