Payroll Specialist

Overview
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing employee payroll. This includes consolidating timesheet information and calculating pay according to hours worked and other factors such as overtime or holiday pay. The role also involves computing the correct amounts for taxes, government contributions and other employee pay benefits.
Responsibilities- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
- Provide clerical support to the HRMO
- Perform payroll functions:
- Process employee wages, taxes, and deductions accurately and on time
- Manage payroll records meticulously while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
- Prepare payroll reports and tax documents
- Update payroll systems with employee status changes
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and ensure data integrity
- Stay updated on payroll laws for compliance
- Collaborate with HR and finance for accurate payroll data
- Resolve employee inquiries and payroll-related issues promptly
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and government institutions (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, etc.)
- Conducts or assists with newly hired employee orientation
- Assists with planning and execution of company events
- A graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or relevant
- A Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is an advantage
- A minimum of two (2) years of payroll background, preferably in a medical setting
