Recruiting Specialist – ReliefWeb Duty Station: Manila (Global Administrative Centre (MAC)), Philippines Position Title: Recruiting Specialist • Reference Code: VN 042/2025 • Classification: G-6 • Appointment Type: One‑year fixed term with possibility of extension • Salary: ₱979,963.00 per annum net of taxes Position Overview Under the overall supervision of the Head, Recruitment Unit and the direct supervision of the National Human Resource Officer, the Recruiting Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance review and carrying out recruiting activities in their area of responsibility. The role coordinates with hiring managers, selection panels, HR focal points and candidates to fill posts in a timely, transparent and fair manner while ensuring a positive stakeholder experience. Responsibilities Conduct compliance reviews and manage recruiting activities for assigned posts. Coordinate with hiring managers, selection panels, HR focal points and candidates. Ensure timely filling of posts according to established policies and procedures. Maintain transparency, fairness and positive stakeholder experience throughout recruitment processes. Required Qualifications and Experience Education : University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial and Organizational Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution, with four years relevant professional experience; or Completed High School degree with six years of relevant professional experience. Experience : Processing HR transactions; exposure to talent acquisition and talent management concepts; use of social media for recruitment; experience supporting recruitment in humanitarian or non‑profit organizations (desirable); HR statistics experience and multi‑cultural setting experience (desirable). Skills : Knowledge of IOM/UN personnel and financial policies (advantage); autonomous work in a high‑paced environment; client orientation and trust building; client management; high computer literacy and HR IT systems experience.
