Financial Reporting Manager

Overview

The Financial Reporting Manager will supervise monthly close and consolidation processes including financial accounting analysis, and the preparation of the parent and consolidated financial statements of ICTSI, quarterly and annual SEC filings and related earnings releases. The role provides support to all reporting entities globally with respect to accounting, financial reporting, book closing and auditing issues. This position participates in creating and implementing Group accounting policies and procedures, including policies in the consolidation process and maintenance of the consolidation system. The role requires coordination with subsidiaries and associates worldwide and with other departments at the Head Office. The Global Financial Reporting Manager contributes to internal reporting for Senior Management and the Audit Committee, and ensures compliance with external financial reporting requirements for submission to the SEC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation process, including preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for submission to the SEC and/or Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
• Perform financial accounting analysis, monitor intercompany balances reconciliation, and review and validate input data.
• Process consolidation entries and upload trial balances to SAP BPC for other entities; review of certain financial transactions.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements of entities within the Group in compliance with Group accounting and reporting policies and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) for entities in the Philippines.
• Administer and maintain SAP BPC, including providing resolution support for issues encountered by the Financial Reporting team and subsidiaries during monthly submissions.
• Assist subsidiaries and affiliates in resolving technical issues, including accounting research and preparation of technical accounting memoranda.
• Supervise the accounting operations and financial reporting of ROHQ.
• Supervise the preparation/maintenance of books of accounts for certain Group companies as needed.
• Liaise with external auditors and coordinate with other departments as required.
• Assist in the preparation of the department budget.
• Continuously review new accounting pronouncements and assess their impact on the Group; provide technical accounting advice and ensure compliance with latest reporting requirements (SEC and other regulators).
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and perform other tasks as requested by top management.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Job Requirements and Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership skills.

b. Knowledge and Experience:

• High technical skills in Philippine/International Financial Reporting Standards (P/IFRS).
• 4+ years in professional audit or accounting roles; at least 6 months in a supervisory or equivalent position.
• Experience with SAP systems is a plus.

c. Professional Qualification and Training:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

d. Working Conditions:

• Office environment.
• Monday to Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
