Accounting Assistant

Will perform bookkeeping and financial tasks such as update financial records, prepare reports, tax return and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Maintain and update financial records.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Perform month-end closing activities.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Prepare and maintain account schedules.
Assist in supporting documentation for financial statements.
Process vendor invoices.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts such as bank accounts.
Prepare and filing of tax returns.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be a graduate of Accountancy, Finance or other business-related courses.
1-2 years of experience, exposure in tax return preparation and filing is highly preferred.
Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Amenable to work in Binondo, Manila
