Role Overview:
  • Monitors timely filing and remittance of periodic tax payments (eFPS or manual eBIR) made by Finance (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually) before deadlines
  • Reviews, files and pays quarterly and annual income tax returns, including submission of ITR supporting docs
  • Assists in the review of possible impact of new tax rules, issuances, BIR Rulings, CTA and Supreme Court decisions to the company's statutory reports and collaborates with business partners any improvement or enhancement needed
  • Assists in overseeing requirements of business units/partners for national and local permits (business permits renewals and registrations, submission of books of accounts, BIR Certificate of Registration and other related certifications)
  • Reviews the reconciliation and audit working papers for submission to BIR
  • Keeps abreast of latest and relevant tax rulings and jurisprudence and prepare tax briefs/digests, including its impact to company's operations, for dissemination or cascade to finance and business partners
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Has at least 1-2 years related work experience
  • Knowledgeable in Taxation and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
