time left to apply End Date: December 31, 2025 (30+ days left to apply) job requisition id R3741 Responsibilities : Job Summary: A Security Analyst will be part of a team that provides timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, misuse activities, and monitor the health of security sensors and endpoints. They will assist in resolving incidents, analyze them for trends, and identify critical issues. The role also involves documenting procedures, creating reports, and recommending actions to engage and enable other teams to improve the security posture. Staying updated on global threats and interacting with employees worldwide is essential. The successful candidate will have experience in security operations, gain deeper expertise in specific areas, and benefit from knowledge-sharing opportunities with the team, contributing to a collaborative, continuous learning environment, fostering personal growth and career advancement. Key Tasks: Manage security requests and incidents. Provide timely detection, identification, and alerting of potential cyber threats and intrusions. Use cyber defense tools for continual monitoring and analysis to detect malicious activities. Analyze malicious activities to identify exploited weaknesses, exploitation methods, and impacts on systems. Perform event correlation with information from various sources and initial forensic collection to support evidence for incident response. Conduct cyber defense trend analysis, write and publish after-action reviews, cyber defense techniques, guidance, and incident reports. Collaborate with other operation teams to resolve any potential threats or issues. Stay updated with external sources to maintain current cyber defense threat conditions and determine their potential impacts. Engage in cybersecurity exercises and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance readiness and response capabilities. Demonstrate flexibility to engage in projects or initiatives to support the dynamic nature of cybersecurity operations. Requirements and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 2+ years in Security Operations or 5+ years in IT. Knowledge of programming (Python, Java, PHP), penetration testing, networking, cloud systems, and operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux). Organizational, communication, documentation, and project management skills; able to work independently or in a team. Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate complex problems, problem-solving abilities, and develop effective solutions. Adaptability to changing technological environments, keen eye for detail, and customer focus. Continuously update job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional engagement.
