About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with strong expertise in front-end development, analytics implementation, and integration technologies. This role is hands‑on and delivery-focused, working closely with platform and technical leads to deliver features, enhance internal tools, and ensure robust analytics and tagging implementations across both web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities Work with platform and technical leads to deliver features for internal and external stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and enhance analytics tagging, data integrations, and internal tools. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents; validate fixes and communicate updates to stakeholders. Audit and improve existing Adobe Analytics analytics setup and related tagging solutions. Ensure tagging and data collection follow best practices across web and mobile apps. Create and maintain documentation for tagging, implementation, and testing processes. Collaborate across development, product, and marketing teams to deliver accurate and actionable data. Core Skills & Experience Formal qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Extensive front-end development experience with JavaScript (legacy JS, ES5/ES6, typescript, no frameworks), HTML, CSS, and cross-browser compatibility. Advanced knowledge of tagging approaches across digital assets, including web and mobile applications. Expertise with Tag Management Systems (TMS) such as Adobe Data Collection/Launch, Tealium IQ, or Ensighten. Deep understanding of HTTP/HTTP2 protocols, cookies (first‑ and third‑party), and browser storage. Hands‑on experience auditing and improving setups in Adobe Analytics Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Atlassian Bamboo) and build/packaging tools (Gulp, Grunt). Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with at least one backend language: Node.js, PHP, or Python. Experience with Google DFP and ad‑tech front-end technologies (e.g., Prebid.js, header bidding). Proven production support experience, including monitoring, validation, and incident resolution. Highly Desirable Knowledge of data architecture, data sources, and normalisation. Experience with optimisation testing tools (Google Optimize, Adobe Target, Optimizely). Understanding of front-end performance bottlenecks and how to resolve them. Exposure to Content Delivery Networks (Akamai, Fastly) and scripting (e.g., Akamai ESI). Knowledge of Data Management Platforms and Attribution Modeling. Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
