Specialist – IT Project Delivery Location: Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines We are looking for a Specialist – IT Project Delivery to join our Global Business Services team in the Manila office. This full‑time hybrid role focuses on delivering IT projects that align with Orica’s project management frameworks, standards, and business objectives. About the role The Specialist – IT Project Delivery is accountable for overseeing the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with the defined objectives of the IT and business teams. Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that outline activities, resources, objectives, scope, and technical requirements. Collaborate closely with PMO Analysts, IT Coordinators, and Infrastructure Specialists to secure the necessary resources and maintain project alignment. Manage the full project lifecycle—from initial scoping through final implementation—while ensuring timely delivery within budget and in alignment with business goals. Track, report, and document project progress, promote consistent use of project management methodologies, and maintain regular status updates. Engage stakeholders effectively, manage expectations across design and building teams, and coordinate with the PMO Lead for scheduling and resourcing. Escalate critical decisions to leadership, manage vendor relationships, and work with Solution Architects to align technical insights with project planning. Proactively manage risks, ensure smooth project progression, and align project outcomes with strategic objectives. Qualifications Tertiary qualified. (2‑5) years’ experience in a Project Management function. (2‑5) years’ experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). PMP Certification (preferred). Excellent project management skills including budget, benefit, schedule, and team management. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to maintain good working relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation. Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple projects at once. Demonstrated customer focus by evaluating decisions from the customer’s perspective; building strong customer relationships and partnering well to help fulfil their needs.
