Senior Physiotherapist (Plastics) – North Metropolitan Health Service Permanent – Part Time (38 hours per fortnight) About the role This position assesses patients and provides appropriate treatments for routine and complex cases for patients admitted under the Plastics and ENT services. It includes neck and groin dissection, tracheostomy/laryngectomy, cochlea and labrynthine surgery, skin grafting and flaps, and breast reconstruction, and maintains close clinical liaison between inpatients and general outpatient services. Responsibilities Assess patients and provide appropriate treatments for routine and complex cases for patients admitted under the Plastics and ENT services. Maintain close clinical liaison between inpatients and general outpatient services. Qualifications Australian citizenship or permanent residency – essential requirement for permanent positions in the public sector. Eligibility to be considered for fixed term appointment must have documentary evidence of entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
