Overview

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst-Chemist.

The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring implementation and enforcing process parameters and material specifications from material acceptance to finished good releasing based on relevant standards and documents, standard operating procedures and respective work instructions.

Responsibilities

Reporting under the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the QA Analyst implements practices, systems, and action items relevant to occupational safety and quality of the unit operations and processes, and its products & by-products. The QA Analyst conducts quality checks of the product and the processes, implements cost and process improvements, and participates in addressing non-conformances.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of Chemistry; registration and license as Chemist is required; or as allowed by pertinent professional regulations laws;
  • With or without experience, but experience in food and beverage manufacturing is an advantage;
  • Familiarity with relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC, is an advantage;
  • With considerably significant communication and administrative skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel); and
  • Has a good team-player, customer-centric and innovative work attitude.
