As a senior front-end developer in one of our DevOps teams, you will participate in servicing and supporting some of the largest clients in the global financial sector in the operation of their SimCorp applications with our SaaS solution. You will be part of a Scrum team responsible for providing self-service applications to the client/end-users. The team matures and automates the solution on Azure designing and developing new frontend solutions. The team consists of a Product Owner, Scrum Master and Developers (including software engineers and UX/UI designer). They are part of a small, cross functional team and can create working, high quality solutions that deliver value to our customers. Together with other team members the software engineer is empowered to manage and self-organize to ensure alignment with their team and other teams and accomplish the business deliveries. The software engineer proactively seeks feedback from systems - telemetry, logs, tests, etc. - users, peers, and other stakeholders to drive continuous quality and process improvements. What you will be responsible for Actively explore new technologies and evaluate potential solutions Participate proactively in Scrum events and contribute to the team's goal planning , including defining the completion criteria for each sprint Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and fellow developers to refine new features Contribute to code reviews and create test scenarios for product evaluation Continuously learn and develop yourself, the team, and our product Build and maintain solutions that prioritize performance and maintainability Engage in knowledge sharing, promote team growth, and support ongoing development What we value Extensive experience in web development, spanning over possible five years Proficient in Angular and TypeScript, with a background of three or more years Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Additional skills that would be valued: Familiarity within Azure Cloud,DevOps and/or cloud patterns and architecture Knowledgeable in SOLID principles and design patterns Well-versed in testing methodologies Understanding of agile software development methodologies Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and provide guidance to fellow members as necessary Experience with Micro Frontends Familiarity with test frameworks such as Karma for unit testing and Cypress for end-to-end testing Next Steps Please click the “Apply” button or get in touch with Rey Adrian Reyes ( ) to learn more about the vacancy and what SimCorp has to offer regarding salary, benefits, and perks.
