Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to take your Software Test engineering career to the next level.

Job Summary:

As an Automation Tester / Technical Tester at JPMorgan Chase within our technology team, you will be presented with a rewarding opportunity to elevate your Software Test engineering career. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and managing end-to-end test cycles as part of the Software Test Lifecycle. You will be a valuable member of our global testing team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test packs for various test cycles by selecting the right strategy and tools.
  • Design, manage and report for all test phases that are part of the Software Test Lifecycle (STLC) including Continuous Integration, Regression, End-to-End (E2E), Functional, Production parallel and Non-functional testing.
  • Schedule, execute & manage various test cycles.
  • Understand operational processes to provide solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience; demonstrated experience within quality assurance / software testing.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and in managing test automation frameworks, release & defect management; proven experience in developing frameworks using Java Spring.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC); hands-on experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding and experience in defect management, test coverage analysis to identify gaps and provide improvements.
  • Solid experience developing UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright or BDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams in multiple locations/time zones.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Operational knowledge in Java or other coding languages, UNIX commands, and SQL queries.
