Overview Wireless Network Technology Strategy and Innovation System Analyst at DITO Telecommunity Corporation. Functions and Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Research: Supports the development of DITO’s wireless network roadmap by conducting market and technology analysis and assisting in the preparation of white papers, strategic reports, and recommendations for 4G, 5G, 5G-Advanced, and future technologies. Project Planning: Contributes to the planning of wireless network initiatives and PoC trials by helping define technical scope, project objectives, resource needs, and timelines to ensure strategic alignment and feasibility. Vendor & Technology Engagement: Engages with multiple vendors (Huawei, ZTE, Nokia) to gather technical proposals, support PoC planning and execution, and assist in evaluating wireless solutions aligned with enterprise connectivity strategies. Network Planning & Deployment Support: Provides technical and analytical support for wireless site planning, including spectrum planning, RAN technology selection, and feasibility studies, with a focus on deployment in challenging areas with reasonable cost. Project Management: Supports the execution, monitoring, and coordination of wireless network projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, alignment with strategic goals, and proper stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation & Reporting: Prepares technical documentation, reports, and presentations to support network strategies and PoC initiatives, while developing dashboards and summaries to track milestones, vendor performance, and alignment with strategic goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams and participates in strategy discussions, vendor engagements, and industry events to ensure wireless initiatives align with commercial objectives. Employment Standards Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required. A strong academic foundation in wireless communication systems and emerging technologies is essential. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in wireless network planning, RAN engineering, or network strategy preferably within the telecommunications industry. Experience in multi-vendor environments (Huawei, ZTE, Nokia) is highly valued. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of 4G/LTE and 5G technologies and familiarity with 3GPP standards, wireless network architecture, and radio access networks (RAN). Certifications: While not mandatory, industry-recognized or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE) are an advantage and may be required for certain advanced assignments or roles. Analytical & Research Skills: Ability to conduct technical analysis, market/technology research, and prepare white papers, strategic reports, and presentations. Experience in developing dashboards, summarizing PoC outcomes, and supporting decision-making is beneficial. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for cross-functional collaboration, presenting findings, and documenting technical materials (e.g., specs, test plans, strategy documents). Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges and implement effective solutions is critical for success in this role. Project Coordination: Organizational skills to support PoC initiatives, vendor meetings, internal reviews, and coordination with multiple departments (Planning, Engineering, IT, etc.). Technology Engagement & Innovation Mindset: Interest in emerging trends such as 5G-Advanced, RedCap, slicing, VoNR, NTN, and AI in RAN. Experience with PoC campaigns or technical workshops is a strong plus. Tool Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint), with basic competency in Excel modeling or equivalent analytical tools. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is essential when drafting technical documentation, conducting evaluations, and ensuring accuracy in project execution and reporting. Job Skills & Qualifications Able to support planning and evaluation tasks involving 4G LTE, 5G, and related technologies based on 3GPP standards. Demonstrates a strong interest in emerging wireless technologies such as 5G-Advanced, O-RAN, and AI in RAN, with a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Capable of supporting proof-of-concept (PoC) activities by reviewing technical materials, organizing test data, and contributing to the evaluation of vendor solutions. Comfortable performing basic research, organizing insights, and helping draft internal reports or strategic materials. Able to work with both technical and non-technical teams to align wireless initiatives with broader business goals. Capable of preparing clear presentations, summaries, and visual reports to support decision-making and internal communication.
