Overview

As an SEO Specialist , you will be responsible for optimizing the website's visibility and ranking on search engines to attract relevant traffic and leads from businesses. Your primary focus is on improving organic search performance through strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of SEO initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Keyword and Competitor Research - Analyze keywords and the SEO strategies of competitors, identifying gaps that pose threats or opportunities.
  • On-Page and Off-Page Optimization - Drive content briefs, internal linking, link-building, guest posting, and related activities.
  • Technical SEO - Track and analyze technical factors affecting search visibility and index coverage; provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Track KPIs such as website traffic, submissions, and rankings; report to the Product Owner and derive improvement recommendations.
  • SEO Audits - Discover and report on potential systemic technical problems in indexability, canonicalization, redirects, HTTP errors, and crawlability; analyze sitemaps, crawl goals, page rendering, and timing.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration - Work with marketing, content, design, and development teams.
  • Industry Awareness - Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO.
  • Innovation - Develop new methods, reports, and tools to help the SEO team work more effectively.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in SEO, preferably with B2B clients/SaaS websites.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and nurture them into customers using dynamic workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making; ability to distill large data into simple KPIs and tell stories with data.
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills).
  • Strong ownership and determination to get things done, with humility and a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Microsoft Clarity, Google Tag Manager, DataStudio, Excel, and other SEO tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is a plus.
