Position Description: The Safety Expert Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards across all project phases. The role involves developing and implementing safety management systems, conducting risk assessments, monitoring worksite activities, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization and among project teams. The Safety Expert will provide technical advice and ensure that safety practices align with national regulations, industry standards, and project-specific requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with applicable laws and standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols and identify potential hazards. Perform risk assessments and recommend preventive and corrective actions. Provide safety training, orientation, and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders. Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence. Coordinate with engineering, construction, and management teams to integrate safety considerations into design and project execution. Maintain and update safety documentation and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Support the preparation of safety reports and documentation required for project approvals and certifications. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or any other Engineering discipline . Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in safety management, preferably within infrastructure, construction, or industrial projects. Proven knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Experience in preparing and implementing safety plans and risk management systems. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
