Tax Manager Air Liquide Philippines , a fully owned subsidiary of Air Liquide Group, started its operations in 1994 and currently employs 230+ people. We operate air separation units (ASU), hydrogen plants, carbon dioxide plants, cylinder refilling stations and depots, on-site plants and pipelines nationwide. Our main plant is situated in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, and our head office is in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. We serve a wide spectrum of markets and industries including electronics, food processing, pharmaceuticals, metals, automotive, shipbuilding, and hospitals. Air Liquide Philippines is ISO 9001:2008 certified as well as GMP certified for medical oxygen. In addition, our liquid carbon dioxide plant in Pasig City fulfilled the requirements for Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) for the manufacture of this gas as a food additive. Key Responsibilities Oversee BIR compliance management: preparation, e‑filing, e‑payment of all tax‑related compliance obligations; maintain file retention for VAT and withholding tax documents; reconcile filed tax with issued Creditable Withholding Tax Certificates and final tax; submit the Monthly Alphalist to the BIR. Perform compliance health checks: balance sheet reconciliation for VAT and withholding tax accounts; ensure accurate posting of monthly closing entries for tax accounts; analyze tax components of all entries; monitor CWT mailbox for timely handling of requests, queries, and disputes; provide advice on tax matters concerning daily operations and projects. Manage PEZA compliance: analyze, prepare, and file VAT and withholding tax returns for PEZA and non‑PEZA entities; prepare annual reports such as the Tax Incentives Management and Transparency Act (TIMTA) report for PEZA; assist in Income Tax Holiday (ITH) validation for prior and new projects, including document preparation and compliance with PEZA Clearance requirements. Support statutory audit: prepare required reports and provide documents based on the CAS to external auditors; address auditor inquiries related to taxation. Maintain LGU compliance: keep up‑to‑date Real Property Tax details; conduct fixed assets count and tagging; prepare documents for business permit renewal across all sites; handle payment of annual and quarterly business taxes in LGUs where sites are located. Qualifications Degree in accountancy or taxation. Certified Public Accountant preferred. 5-7 years of tax experience in a multinational/manufacturing industry or audit firm. Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation. Experience handling PEZA compliance is a plus. Ability to deal with local government agencies.
