Lead Full Stack Developer

As a Lead Developer you will look after a team ofdevelopers, make recommendations for tools, maintenance, and testing strategiesand assist with creating a maintainable application landscape alongside otherLeads, Developers, and Architects. Responsibilities The Lead Full stack Developer is expected tosignificantly impact and drive the software development function by leading thedevelopment and maintenance of applications that map our current businessrequirements to end-to-end technology solutions. Key accountabilities include : · Lead a software development project team (around6 or more developers) and act as the technical expert, owning the developmentprocess; · Analyze, design, develop, test, and deployapplications with a clean-code approach, acting as the most senior technicalmember of the team; · Research new technologies, multi-tasking onmultiple projects with other team members; · Follow software development processes and codingconventions, using Agile/SCRUM principles and working closely with other Leads,Developers, Scrum Masters, Architects, and Testers; · Break down detailed specifications and implementtechnical requirements based upon the needs of the company and its clients; · Motivate and manage your development team,supporting and mentoring, acting by example and leading from the front; · Troubleshoot issues in a timely manner in ahighly scalable development environment; · Contribute ideas to improve process anddevelopment practices; · Work very closely with the SCRUM Master tocoordinate and lead all required SCRUM meetings with stakeholders andproduct/business owners, ensuring all relevant information to the team andproject are shared and discussed; · Lead meetings with customers in English; Qualifications The Lead Full stack Developer should have excellenttechnical knowledge in analyzing, developing, testing, and deploying solutionsand their experience should include the following: · The ideal candidate will have a degree relevantto Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent) and atleast 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience - 2 years or more as adevelopment lead looking after a minimum of 5 developers; Proven success and expertise in developing innovative solutions andproof-of-concepts both internally and externally; Proven experience estimating, scoping, and writing effectivestatements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk fordevelopment tasks in tandem with the other Development Leads, Architects,and Scrum Masters; Proven experience producing well designed, testable, efficient codeusing best software development practices; Excellent technical knowledge in developing solutions usingMicroservices and Node/Typescript/React; Excellent technical knowledge in developing solutions withMessaging architecture (ZeroMQ/Pub/Sub/WebSockets/Protobufs); Excellent technical knowledge in developing solutions with mySQL; Excellent technical knowledge in developing solutions withcontainerized technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) and understanding of CI/CDand DevOps secure practices; Excellent knowledge of Cloud and in particular AWS, ideally withexperience in banking/fintech sectors and industries; Demonstrated capabilities in developing an understanding of thecustomer business value associated with the deployment of modern financialproductivity, system-to-system, and end-user applications; Proven experience working within a software development team,mentoring and offering advice, having passion about development, andengendering a collective mentality; Excellent communication and documentation skills.
