Job Title: SEO Expert for Etsy Store

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented SEO Expert to enhance the visibility and performance of our Etsy store. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Etsy's unique search algorithm and e-commerce trends, enabling them to develop strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and increase sales. This role requires a blend of technical SEO expertise, creative content optimization, and a strong analytical mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct keyword research tailored to Etsy's platform to identify high-performing, relevant keywords
  • Optimize product titles, descriptions, tags, and categories to improve search visibility and click-through rates
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies specifically for Etsy's algorithm
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of SEO strategies using analytics tools to identify areas for improvement
  • Create and manage a content strategy that enhances product discoverability and engagement
  • Stay updated on Etsy's search algorithm changes, SEO trends, and e-commerce best practices
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and appealing product listings
  • Provide regular reports on SEO performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in SEO, specifically for e-commerce platforms (Etsy experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Etsy's search algorithm, ranking factors, and keyword optimization strategies
  • Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms
  • Excellent understanding of on-page and off-page SEO principles
  • Creative skills for crafting compelling and search-optimized product descriptions
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is an advantage
