In this role you will: Have direct client representation and consultations‑responsible for research inquiries. Prepare Federal, State and City tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, Exempt Organizations, Partnerships, and Trusts. Consult with clients regarding tax compliance issues. Train and mentor staff in the Tax Services Department. Prepare financial statements; perform compilations and reviews. Keep current on applicable tax laws and regulations. Participate in quality review control programs. Build good relationships with clients’ staff to foster requests for additional services. Actively contribute to and participate in firm projects and initiatives. Perform other accounting, tax, and consulting duties as needed in engagements. Applicants must possess the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of public accounting tax experience (individual, S‑Corp, C‑Corp, & partnership returns). CPA eligible required. CPA preferred. Knowledge of general accounting principles. Proficient in use of computers. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong English written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Team-oriented mindset providing customers with high quality work and excellent customer service. Strong planning and organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with Quickbooks, ProSystems fx Tax, ProSystems fx Engagement, and CCH Axcess Tax is a plus.
