Licensed Assistant Interior Design Manager

Job Overview

Provides interior design deliverables, including but not limited to design concepts, floor plans with furniture layout, 3D renders/views, material boards; FF&E booklets, ID plans and budget estimates for accessories. Responsible for presenting concepts to top management for approval and coordinating with design teams, other departments, external ID consultants, contractors and suppliers. Performs on-site visits to inspect implementation, prepares site reports with photos, issues site instructions, and responds to approvals/information requests in a timely manner. Sources finishes, furniture, fixtures and accessories; shops for items; conducts styling and on-site accessorizing; prepares final inventory lists; and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares design concepts, floor plans with furniture layout, 3D renders/views, material boards; FF&E booklets, ID plans and budget estimates for accessories
  • Presents concepts, floor plans, 3D renders and material boards to top management for approval
  • Coordinates with design team, other departments and external ID consultants for requests of plans, project briefs, marketing briefs, clarificatory meetings
  • Coordinates with contractors and suppliers for projects
  • Visits on-site and inspects that interior design is implemented based on the approved plans; prepares site reports with photos
  • Issues site instructions; answers Request for Approval, Request for Information in a timely manner
  • Sourcing for readily-available ID finishes, furniture, fixtures and accessories
  • Shops for furniture and accessories and prepares internal documents needed for the project
  • Conducts styling and accessorizing on-site
  • Prepares final inventory list of furniture and accessories
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by immediate supervisor
