About the client The client is a modern lifestyle brand creating innovative products designed to transform the way we travel. The company was founded in 2016 to make travel accessories that people would love to use; they have over 100 employees and ship to 25 countries worldwide. About the role As a Social Media Specialist, you will be part of the marketing core team that fully owns the client’s brand. You will be responsible for creating social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of our social media platforms. To be successful in this role, you will have to be passionate about the social media space, adopt a very hands-on approach, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to bring about various types of creative and engaging content in our social media community. What you’ll be doing Developing social media content plans consistent with the company’s brand identity Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns Developing and managing influencer programs and managing influencer relationships Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community Collaborate with the rest of the departments (customer success, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions to answer questions or resolve concerns posted on social media Monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights Who are we looking for? At least 3+ years of experience as a social media specialist Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent Attention to detail, creativity in problem-solving Experience with paid social media will be preferred Ability to take the initiative and work independently with minimal supervision Position Social Media Specialist Remote Status Fully Remote Preferred Location Global Working Hours Flexible Timings in EST Holidays US Holidays Salary USD1250 to USD1600 Internal Job ID BT-0008 We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
