About this Position As a Senior Prepress Designer, you will play a vital role in preparing print-ready files that ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. Your expertise in print specifications and brand guidelines is crucial for delivering exceptional visual materials that resonate with our customers and uphold our company's reputation. You will join a dynamic team of creative professionals who collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and printer suppliers. In this environment, your ability to act as a point of contact for prepress-related topics will facilitate smooth communication and problem-solving. As you navigate unique challenges in the design and printing process, your attention to detail and commitment to quality will enhance our overall output, helping us maintain our competitive edge in the market. Here, your contributions will not only impact our current projects but will also lay the groundwork for future innovations in our print media. What you´ll do Prepare print-ready files by performing the established steps in accordance with printer specifications and brand guidelines; Using Esko plug-ins and Adobe software to perform pre-press Ensure copy-fit of supplied mastertext Perform color separation, color retouching and color proofing Conduct quality gatekeeping for print feasibility and consistency of art by checking design with printer specifications, historical data and print tendencies Collaborate with internal stakeholders and printer suppliers Act as point of contact for process-related topics (focus area - prepress) What makes you a good fit Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Print Technology or related course Minimum of three (3) years' relevant work experience as a Prepress Artist;Preferably obtained from the printing industry, print management agency, or any relevant field Background in conducting Quality Control and Quality Checks of prepress artwork is required;In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control of packaging artwork and prepress Advanced technical skills in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (for color retouching), Acrobat Pro; Esko Automation is highly preferred Intermediate to advanced project management skills; With high level of accuracy and attention to detail Must have effective English communication and excellent time management skills Amenable to work on a temporary basis (3 months), mid-shift schedule (3 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 MN) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati Some perks of joining Henkel A thriving career with the Top 15 Best Workplaces in the Philippines by Great Place to Work and the Top GBS Employer in the Philippines by the Everest Group for 4 consecutive years Flexible work scheme with flexible hours, hybrid work model, and work from anywhere policy for up to 30 days per year Diverse national and international growth opportunities Global wellbeing standards with health and preventive care programs Gender-neutral parental leave for a minimum of 8 weeks At Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
