The Manager of Cloud Solutions oversees a team of engineers delivering professional service engagements, focusing on performance development, Pax8 values adherence, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce Pax8 values. Conduct regular performance reviews to develop talents and career growth.
  • Collaborate with the PMO to ensure projects meet timelines and SOW requirements.
  • Ensure the team has access to training and development; undertake special projects as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with interdepartmental stakeholders; maintain a high-performing team within budget.
  • Collaborate with ProServe leadership to confirm accurate project scoping, project rates, and billable hours.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of Technical Engagement strategy as set by leadership; coach and guide Delivery and Advisory teams.
  • Serve as escalation point/mentor for Delivery and Advisory teams.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies

  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience across Microsoft platform; knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and Microsoft networking.
  • Expertise in public cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS; preferably Microsoft Azure).
  • Experience in a professional services role; ability to own difficult situations to completion.
  • Strong ability to develop others to meet career goals and objectives.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication; strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with drive to network with customers and bring on new business/projects.
  • Ability to drive teams to achieve key business objectives; motivate others; operate with integrity; handle conflicts; consult with technical and business stakeholders; manage ambiguous situations.

Required Education & Certifications

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience.

Work Environment

Professional office environment. Remote/hybrid work requires adequate, secure internet.

Travel

Infrequent travel expected.

Location & Reports

Reports to: Director of ProServe.
