The Business Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. The role identifies problems and opportunities within the company and provides solutions that help achieve business goals. The business analyst also develops and monitors data quality metrics to ensure that business data and reporting needs are met, and assists with the implementation and support of business information systems. This role involves collaborating with business and IT teams to optimize costs and improve internal and external reporting. Responsibilities Develop and maintain essential reports to support the Finance, Accounting, and Record-to-Report teams, providing historical data trends, volume analysis, KPI visuals, and actionable insights. Understand operational objectives of business functions by gathering information, evaluating output requirements, and identifying appropriate formats. Document business use cases by constructing workflow charts, analyzing system capabilities, writing specifications, and designing modifications for enhancements. Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data to develop integrated business analyses for strategic decision-making. Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reports highlighting relevant trends and opportunities for improvement. Maintain user confidentiality and protect business interests by ensuring secure access to information. Collaborate with IT teams to enable an intuitive, self-service environment for monitoring results, predicting outcomes, and driving action plans for optimal performance. Translate business requirements into BI solutions and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights. Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI; design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and analytics. Drive automation and predictive analytics use cases using Microsoft Power Platform or related tools. Qualifications Analytics Modeling Data Processing (ETL, Data Cleansing) Business Acumen – Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Record-to-Report background is a plus Tools and System Proficiency (Excel, SQL, SAP, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, Microsoft apps) Communication Proficiency Project Management Relationship Management Working Conditions Working on an EMEA or mid shift Hybrid setup How to Apply Are you an innovator?
