JOB PROFILE JOB TITLE: Manager: Office of the Executive REPORTING TO: Executive Manager: STP JOB GRADE: D2 Minimum Midpoint RANGE: R742 993 - R874 110 NO. OF INCUMBENTS: 1 DIVISION: Seda Technology Programme LOCATION: National Office MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To formulate and implement operations and procedures, as well as coordinate inter-divisional activities to ensure effective and efficient operations within the Office of the Executive Manager. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Oversee the consolidation, analysis, and submission of the Division’s annual work plan, ensuring alignment with Seda’s annual performance plan and guidelines. Manage the Division’s annual budget submission, review process, and report on financial performance. Oversee the consolidation, analysis, and submission of performance and management reports. Monitor and evaluate financial and operational performance against set targets. Manage the operations and resources within the Office of the Executive Manager. REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Matric (NQF Level 4) and a B Tech (NQF Level 7) or Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business Management/Public Management/Operations Management. Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) or postgraduate Diploma (NQF 8) in Business Management/Public Management/Operations Management is an advantage. REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE 6-8 years in operational management, with at least 3 years at a senior level. Knowledge of business improvement strategies, project management, financial and quality management, basic accounting, and PFMA. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES Strategic capability, managing teams, coaching & mentoring, change management, policy development & adherence, political awareness, advisory service, communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical skills, business acumen, problem-solving & decision-making, planning & organizing, monitoring & evaluation, performance-driven, teamwork, adaptability & flexibility, negotiation.
